Lack of Vitality
On this blue world, the word depression has become quite common amongst the tongue of mostly teenagers. Its not that they are sad, but mentaly and spiritually exhausted from this world. Depression is not the same as sadness. It's difficult to explain it to someone who hasnt been there. Sadness is to cry, to feel. But it's that cold absense of feeling, that really hollowed-out feeling that eats you from within.
In our society, mental health is not taken seriously at all. They think of it as "over dramatic" or "attention seeking tactic" without knowing what the person is actually going through, while the person can just smile back at them. In this society, they will never understand, they will just tell you "Cheer up, theres nothing to worry about". I want to yell, "Oh hey, depression's gone!". It is not something you can quickly recover from, like a cold or a stomach ache. The hollow feeling, slowly but surely leads the person to its demise, losing hope, losing pride.
But...
The Quran says "I entrust my affairs unto God. Truly, Allah is aware of His servants"
We will never be left alone, neither will God leave us from His sight.
So
Live.
Hope.
Grow.
Work hard.
God is aware of our problems and we, as Muslims, are aware that He is looking out for us. So dont give up. I know you have been through alot. But everything will turn out well.
Good job sanan
